Vijay thanks Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently intervened in the death sentence verdict issued by Sri Lankan High court to five Tamil fishermen. Soon after Modi’s intervention, Sri Lankan President Rajapakshe freed the five fishermen which earned a good name for Narendra Modi in Tamil nadu. The fishermen, were released on 19th November 2014, who were arrested on charges of drug trafficking.  Actor Vijay had sent a thanksgiving letter to the Honorable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi for his efforts in saving the five fishermen. He also mentions in his letter that not only the families of the fishermen are happy about this but the entire Tamil Nadu is much happy about their freeing.  Vijay is considered to be one of the politically ambitious film actors in Tamil cinema after actors’ rajinikanth and MGR. Vijay also requested Narendra Modi to provide proper security to Tamil fishermen so that they won’t get arrested again. Later Narendra Modi had invited Vijay when he visited Tamil Nadu for his election campaign.
